Large coral formations rise up from the brilliant white sandy bottom which slopes off into the blue abyss. Divers are treated to large coral formation swim throughs where marine life flourishes.The stunning blue color of the deep contrasts with the white sandy bottom is a site to be seen. Excellent visability contributes to Palancar Bricks being a photographer's dream.
The Palancar Reef sites are considered to be Cozumel's most famous dive sites. The shallower sections will please snorkelers as well. There are four distinct dive sites here, Palencar Gardens, Horseshoe, Caves, and Bricks. Palancar Caves and Bricks are the deepest sections. Turtles are almost sure to be sited as well as countless other beautifully colored reef fish. Palancar Reef should be part of any Cozumel dive trip.
